Can I wear my jewelry in the shower or while swimming?

It's generally not recommended to wear jewelry in the shower or while swimming for several reasons:
Chemicals: The chemicals in soaps, shampoos, and conditioners can damage certain types of jewelry, especially those with gemstones or delicate metals.
Chlorine and Saltwater: Chlorine in swimming pools and saltwater in the ocean can be corrosive to metals, causing them to tarnish or corrode over time.
Abrasion: Activities like swimming can subject your jewelry to increased friction and wear, potentially causing scratches or damage.
Loss: Jewelry worn in water is more prone to slipping off due to the effects of water and soap, increasing the risk of loss.
To preserve the quality and appearance of your jewelry, it's best to remove it before showering, swimming, or engaging in activities where it may come into contact with water or chemicals. If you accidentally get your jewelry wet, make sure to dry it thoroughly before storing it to prevent tarnishing and damage.
